about

Independent Scotland by The Orc Mischief is a song detailing many of the naturally astounding attributes Scotland has to offer, and will only continue to offer if we gain independence. It has been featured on ReferendumTV and BBC 2's Newsnight with Kirsty Wark (who is lovely by the way). It's all gone a bit too far, but we will ride the wave of fame until we crash hopelessly into the rocky cliff face of obscurity. The music video can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlkKecWZJUU.

lyrics

An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
That’s the decision for me
An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
Here’s a list compiled by me

We’ve got Edinburgh castle and Stirling Castle
And Inverness Castle too
And Glasgow Castle and Elgin Castle
And Ross County Castle too

We’ve got Tennents lager, McEwans Lager
and Belhaven Besty too
We’ve got Famous Grouse Whiskey and MacKays Whiskey
And Lidl Whiskey too

We’ve got Loch Tay and Loch Ness
And Pitlochry Too
We’ve got Ben Nevis and Ben McDui
And Ben Doherty too

An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
That’s the decision for me
An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
Here’s a list compiled by me

And Highland Cows and Normal Cows
And Male Cows too
We’ve got Edinburgh Airport and Glasgow Airport
And Glasgow Prestwick too

We’ve got Tay Road Bridges Tay Rail Bridges
And The Harry Potter Bridge too
And Forth Road Bridges and Forth Rail Bridges
And Kevin Bridges too

An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
That’s the decision for me
An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
Here’s a wee solo by me

(SOLO)

An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
That’s the decision for me
An independent Scotland is a better Scotland
That was a list by me
